Carl Simianer was the creator of the book CROSSROADS and
the genealogy therein. That book was published in June of
1986. Immediately thereafter, Carl embarked on a project to
continue working in genealogy and family history. In 1992
he began to put his work together for a second publication to
be called CROSSROADS ADDENDUM # 1.
On January 1, 1991, Carl received a liver transplant. It
was successful and so now 2 years later he is working on this
project. The intent is to load all of the genealogy in
manual records into the computer program and then make an
effort to update the vital statistics.
Genealogy is a never ending process. It is a living
document. People are born, they die and life goes on. It
is my fondest hope that someone will take up this project and
continue it after me. The more we know about our ancestors
the better we understand ourselves.
Carl served 3 years in the US Navy. In 1968 He moved to
Dillingham, Alaska, working for the Public Health Service.
In 11969 he secured employment with the Federal Aviation
Administration, retiring in 1989

Eleanor Pauline Robertson went by the name of Pauline all her life. She
did not like her given name. She married Carl W Simianer in 1943

Vicki Lynn Simianer married Wm F Sims in November 1974. They had one child
named Amber Lee. They divorced several years after their marriage
[277] Amy Lou Simianer married George Mark Riddle.
