According to a 1893 Plat of Wards Grove Township, Jo Davies County, Illinois,
there was a school called the Giddings School, located in the SE corner of
the SW 1/4 of Section 16, Township 27 North, Range 5 East
In Kossuth County, Wesley Township, Iowa Wm P Giddings once owned 80 acres
in the N 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of Section 6, township 96 North, Range 27 West
William Ward owned 40 acres in the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of the same section
